I questioned their ability to handle such a cruel and dark world. To say my momma heart was overwhelmed with sadness would be an understatement. I felt like no one understood my pain and I felt completely out of control. In 2006 I miscarried a child at 3 months pregnant. There have been so many times when I have felt weak, helpless, and alone in the midst of trials. However, as I sought the Word of God, counsel, and community, I began to heal.
